2004年公開の映画『TAXI NY』ではダメ刑事を演じていたアメリカの人気コメディアン、ジミー・ファロン氏が自身の司会番組『Late Night』にてCoDシリーズ最新作のCall of Duty: Black Opsをプレイしました。
ファロン氏はE3 2010でも実演されたヘリコプターミッションに挑戦。敵の集中砲火を受けるミッションだけに興奮して思わず大声に（笑）。最後に敵のヘリコプターを撃墜した時は会場から拍手も巻き起こっていますね。
見ている側も興奮するCall of Duty: Black OpsはWindows PC/Xbox 360/PS3/Wiiで11月9に北米発売予定。また国内ではスクウェア・エニックスからローカライズ版の発売が予定されています。

Disney Interactiveおよび周辺機器メーカーのPDPはホリデーシーズンに発売が予定されているEpic MickeyとTron Evolutionをモチーフとしたオリジナルデザインのコントローラーを発表しました。Epic Mickeyデザインの絵筆型ヌンチャクにはWiiリモコンの充電スタンドも付属するようです。

何があっても追跡を諦めない！『Driver: San Francisco』ウォークスルー映像
E3 2010にて発表されたDriverシリーズの最新作、Driver: San Franciscoのウォークする映像です。このウォークスルー映像では瞬時に別の車に乗り換えることができる新機能“Shift”が解説されています。動画の最後では後方から追跡するのではなく、正面からトラックで突っ込むという荒技も披露しています。
更に進化したカーチェイスが楽しめそうなDriver: San FranciscoはWindows PC/Mac/Xbox 360/PS3/Wiiで今年のホリデーシーズンの発売が予定されています。

長い間噂されてきた存在が、任天堂の発表会で遂に真実となったWiiのゴールデンアイリメイクGoldenEye 007。E3会場で展示されている画面分割の4人用マルチプレイの動画が見つかっているので、当時の熱い記憶が蘇るなつかしい対戦の様子を確かめておきましょう。

E3 10: Wii『Epic Mickey』トレイラー＆開発者ウォークスルー映像
任天堂プレスカンファレンスでは、開発を指揮するWarren Spector氏が自らステージ上でゲームを披露するなど、主力タイトル級の扱いだったWiiのEpic Mickey。発表会で公開されたトレイラーやゲームプレイ動画に加え、Warren Spector氏によるウォークスルー映像が見つかっているのでまとめてご紹介します。

E3 10: Wiiでゴールデンアイが復活！『GoldenEye 007』発表
任天堂は、E3 2010のプレスカンファレンスで、NINTENDO64の名作ゴールデンアイのWii用リメイクとなるGoldenEye 007を発表しました。先日の噂通りEurocomが開発を担当、主人公は新ボンドのダニエル・クレイグに変更されているようです。今作では8人のプレイアブルキャラクター、16種類のゲームモードなどをフィーチャー、今年のホリデーシーズンに発売予定です。
E3 10: 任天堂、ゼルダの伝説最新作『Legend of Zelda: Skyword Sword』を発表
任天堂は、E3 2010のプレスカンファレンスで、Wiiのゼルダの伝説最新作となるLegend of Zelda: Skyword Swordを発表しました。本作では、Wii Sports Resortのチャンバラからアイデアを得たというWiiモーションプラスに対応した剣と盾の繊細なコントロールが可能で、モーション操作のアイデアを生かした様々なアイテムが登場。
ステージでは任天堂の宮本茂氏が自らWiiリモコンとヌンチャクを手にゲームを実演しました。
Legend of Zelda: Skyword Swordは2011年の発売を予定しているとのことです。
E3 10: 手芸スタイルの新作カービィ『Kirby's Epic Yarn』が発表
任天堂プレスカンファレンスにてカービィシリーズの新作、Kirby's Epic Yarnが発表されました。本作はタイトルにもあるように毛糸（Yarn）でキャラクターが描かれた手芸スタイルのアクションゲームとなっています。
会場で披露されたトレイラーでは毛糸で描かれたカービィが自動車やUFOなど様々な形に変化するプレイシーンなどが収められています。また二人での協力プレイも可能となっているようです。
新たなグラフィックスタイルが目を惹くKirby's Epic Yarnは今秋の発売が予定されています。
なお余談ですが本作のグラフィックスタイルは1993年発売のファミコンソフト、星のカービィ 夢の泉の物語のTVCM（こちら）を髣髴させますね。
E3 10: 懐かしの横スクロール！『Donkey Kong Country Returns』が発表
任天堂のプレスカンファレンスにてドンキーコングの新作タイトル、Donkey Kong Country Returnsが発表されました。トレイラーからも分かるように本作は懐かしの横スクロールスタイルのアクションゲームとなっています。発売はホリデーシーズンを予定。
E3 10: マリオが新たなスポーツに挑戦！任天堂、『Mario Sports Mix』を発表

現在行われている任天堂プレスカンファレンスにてマリオの新作スポーツタイトル、Mario Sports Mixが発表されました。本作でマリオファミリーはバレーボール、ホッケー、ドッジボール、バスケットボールなどなど様々な新スポーツにチャレンジします。
Mario Sports Mixは2011年の発売が予定されています。

E3 10: Ubisoft、マイケル・ジャクソンのダンスゲームを発表
Ubisoftはプレスカンファレンスにてマイケル・ジャクソン氏のディスコグラフィーやダンスに基づく新作ゲームを発表しました。
今年のホリデーシーズンに発売が予定されている本作では、“Beat It”や“Billie Jean”など数々のヒット曲ととともに、マイケル・ジャクソン氏のダンスを体得・再現することができます。またプレイヤーはヴォーカルスキルのテストも行えるそうです。
E3 10: Ubisoft、シリーズ最新作となる『Driver: San Francisco』を発表
UbisoftがDriverシリーズの最新作となるDriver: San Franciscoを発表しました。激しいカーチェイスが繰り広げられるトレイラーも公開されています。海外サイトでは何枚かのスクリーンショットも掲載されています。
E3 10: Criterion開発のシリーズ最新作『Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit』が発表
Electronic ArtsとCriterion Gamesは、Need for Speedのシリーズ最新作となるNeed for Speed: Hot Pursuitを、PS3、Xbox 360、Wii、PCで2010年11月16日に発売すると発表しました。
12年前にPS1で発売された同名作品を基にした今作では、レーサーと警察の過激なカーチェイスをフィーチャー。シングルプレイでは各陣営に完全なキャリアモードを用意、オンラインではフレンドとの対戦が可能な他、Need for Speed Autologと呼ばれるスコア競争機能を搭載。
ステージ上ではレーサーとパトカーが森林コースを舞台に対戦プレイを実演。ただ競争するだけでなく、様々な妨害行為が可能だったり、Criterionの真骨頂とも言える激しいクラッシュシーンも見ることができました。

久しぶりにスーパーマリオギャラクシーをやってみると、
これがやけにハマり、面白い面白いと思いながら時間を忘れてプレイ。
しっかしスターピース取るの、本当に気持ちいいー！
次にネット麻雀『天鳳』の4人打ちで対局中、あの国士無双テンパイ。
「北！北ー！」とワクワクドキドキしながら打っていると、
対面さんが見事ピンフのみで和了りましたよ、はい。
